In the tranquil isolation of an eastern Oregon ranch, I learned to use the tools of an artist's trade at an early age and never stopped. Abstract Expressionism is the style I use to record my life experiences.
Studies in Art, Art History, and Anthropology culminated in a bachelors degree in Graphic Design from Portland State University.
Post-graduate studies have been in printmaking at the Oregon School of Arts and Crafts, Portland, Oregon, and most recently at the Sedona Arts Center, Sedona, Arizona, where I have focused on palette knife painting in oils. My current series, inspired by the 2008 Tucson Gem and Mineral Show, features natural gem and mineral pigments.
My monoprints and paintings are in corporate and private collections in Oregon and Arizona, most notably, Unisys Corp.
